Many thanks for that, you're link to roll back to 2017.0 worked well and everything has returned to normal. No reinstall of Nik itself needed after the roll-back. Nik(s) then works OK on 2017.0 as before.

The CC app tells me an update is available (which will be to 2017.1), but I will not now click to install that. Then install from that Mac dmg (I did not uninstall 2017.1 first I just ran that installer after download from that link). I just rolled back to 2017.0 by direct downloading from here - when logged into my Adobe account: Just as an addendum on another way to roll back to PS CC 2017.0. Try above to roll back to 2017.0 and if you cannot for whatever reason (like me!), then maybe install CC 2015.5 and use that as your Nik base CC version (yes - a workflow pain):Īfter install CC 2015.5, then run the Nik installer again and that will put it into 2015.5. Maybe I'll have to cut and run finally from Adobe as they have stuffed my system and workflow completely now.

I'm running a Mac Book Pro with 10.11.6 OSX. I do not get the VIEW PREVIOUS VERSIONS menu when I click it - which is a CC app 4.0.1.188 (latest) issue. Some 2017.0 roll-back instructions (and discussion of this Nik plus 2017.1 problem) here:īut I cannot invoke that previous versions option (i.e. If only I could go back to the old version of CC 2017.0 as it worked fine. I have tried re-downloading the plugin file and reinstalling, but no change, still doesn't work. It's this wasted workflow that forced me into committing to the CC version to avoid the waste of time after I converted to a Nikon D5 from my trusty D4S. It worked fine until this last update about a week ago.Īt the moment I have to resort to converting my files into DNG and then opening them in my old version of PS CS6. If I press cancel Dfine still generates a noise-reduced layer, but I could not get to the controls and the analyse bar indeed stays on the LHS. Hmm having read your posting and checked, I see the same. It either works extremely slowly or not at all like Define 2.0 which opens, the loupe image remains pixelated and the analysing bar doesn't progress off the left hand stop. I have just updated my PS CC 2017 to version 2017.1 and now my Nik Collection misbehaves.
